Was rather pleasantly surprised with the Fontana Park Hotel. Despite the size, it\'s quite big, this definitely has a boutique hotel feel to it. The decor may not be everyone\'s taste, but I liked it very much. Very sleek and minimal, in places like the lobby grand, empty and light, in the hallways dark and sexy. I was upgraded to a superior room on the 7th floor which featured a fantastic balcony and city views. The open plan bathroom was gorgeous with a bathtub which could be lighted to several (changing) colours depending your mood. Wonderful! Room was immaculately clean, which must be a job considering almost everything is black showing every spot there was not :-). Dinner was great too. There are two restaurants, Portuguese and Japanese/sushi which were combined on the night I visited as the Japanese place was taken over by a tour group. Rounded up with a couple of drinks in the bar beneath the amazing water feature flowing down a giant wall. Bar seemed to be happening with locals as well. Staff everywhere were excellent, young, hiply dressed and eager to please. Free WiFi worked great in the room, not outside. In general a very well organized hotel, pleasant staff and style with a wow factor. Accidently left my telephone charger in the room. A single email and the thing was returned by mail...
