The DNA: A destination in itself, Hotel Puerta América is an innovative project that involved numerous artists, architects and designers working together in developing something unseen before. The reception area is by minimalist master John Pawson while the restaurant is by Christian Liaigre. Each of the floors showcases a different concept in hotel rooms with different materials, colors and shapes. Going up we see the late Zaha Hadid, Norman Foster, David Chipperfield, Plasma Studio, Victorio & Lucchino, Marc Newson (who also designed the cocktail bar), Ron Arad, Kathryn Findlay and Jason Bruges, Richard Gluckman, Arata Isozaki, Javier Mariscal and Fernando Salas, and the top floor by Jean Nouvel.
