Set in a former 1960 Travelodge motel, the Modern Hotel was one of the first in the current Americana craze of restored and redesigned motels. The hotel is located in Boise's downtown Linen District.Mid-Century modern rooms have a minimalist design with teak furnishings, Nelson lamps and come with rainfall showers, a flat-screen TV and an iPod dock. Some suites have kitchenettes, balconies, and others provide Japanese soaking tubs.
