The first of the award-winning 21c Museum Hotels, 21c Louisville is a radical re-envisioning of five contiguous 19th century (tobacco and bourbon) warehouse buildings in Louisville’s downtown historic district. Locals Steve Wilson and his wife Laura Lee Brown, whose foundation owns the art collection fills the hotel’s gallery. If the art here is not enough, the hotel is within walking distance of the Louisville Slugger Museum.
Unique and creative guest rooms have Herman Miller chairs, high ceilings, pewter mint julep cups, and feature 42" flat screens and rubber ducks in the bathtubs.
Proof on Main's, the hotel's restaurant serves a menu inspired by Italy and the American South. It also offers a choice of more than 50 Kentucky bourbons, several bottled exclusively for the hotel. Other amenities include a gym, a sauna, a steam room and bicycle rentals are available. At request, there are a number of massages available, either in the treatment rooms or in the privacy of your room.
