Set in a modernist high rise from the 1960s, Hotel Kabuki is a Japanese style hotel set in San Francisco's Civic Center District. The neighborhood itself is a unique one - Japantown is as close as you can get to an authentic slice of Tokyo in the States, and you’re close to Fillmore Street, which spans from jazz clubs at the bottom to fancy restaurants and boutique shopping at the top.
Rooms are distributed between the Tower and Garden buildings and feature gray accent walls, stitched leather furniture and fabric dyed in a traditional Japanese style. Room facilities include a 26" flat-screen TV, an iPod docking station and laptop safe. Bathrooms have custom, ebonized timber vanities set against large scale floor-to-ceiling porcelain tiles.
The lobby has exposed rough-hewn Douglas fir beams, vintage factory paned windows and salvaged industrial pendant lights. Breakfast includes options for Japanese-style bento box; European breakfast; elevated buffet; coffee bar; tea program; and brunch cocktails. Switching from afternoon into the evening, the focus will shift to craft cocktails, sake, Japanese whiskey, and small bites. Grab and go, coffee and tea options will be available at all times in any of the lounge areas, or in-room. The food and beverage program will also extend to the outdoor lounge, where seating surrounds fire pits in a Japanese Garden setting. Fitness centre.
