As soon as you arrive at the DV (Dolce Vita) Chalet in Madonna di Campiglio you become part of a very special story: from the warm hopsitality to the attention to the minutest detail, everything is centered around the guests. The reception area is rather unusual and escapes the stereotype of a hotel. The lounge with its large fire place creates a very welcoming area where you can sit and relax amongst warm blankets to chat, read a book, sip a Marzemino or a cup of tea. The ‘Stube da Tiz’ is a warm nest of antique Trentino pine, where you can meet with interesting people or you can let yourself be tempted by delicious mountain dishes. In the restaurant ‘ Deodat de Dolomieu’ the fireplace is lit first thing in the morning and the guests are welcomed by the warm glow of the fire and the inviting smell of freshly baked bread. The natural materials, the details that create the atmosphere, the works of art created by friends writers and artist, the lights hidden within the walls all help to give a truly unique atmosphere, an experience of well-being and “the good life”, a perfect gift for yourself or those you love.
The hotel is a perfect marriage between old traditions and modern styles, where 20 bedrooms, some with fireplace, are set in calming natural colors and offer a special and soft hospitality. Each bedroom is different from the other and has been dressed in high quality fabrics and reflects themes such as seasons and mythology. On the first floor "Velvet", all the fabrics are in silky velvet, whilst the mezzanine (second floor) "Wool" is dedicated to wool, warm and enveloping. Under the large beams of the attic (third floor) "MiTo" one finds the rooms dedicated to MiTo’s, small jewels born from a passion of mountaineering and mountain life, designed by the architect Steven Mufatti. The journey at the Chalet Dolce Vita continues at the Spa, Panta Rei where the guest is left amazed. The relax at the DV is Thalasso, with walls the color of the amber salt of the Dead Sea and the pink color of the Himalayan salt. An essential design, valuable materials and the research of an intimate wellbeing, make the spa a place of excellence where one can find time for oneself. In the hotel restaurant, Deodat de Dolomieu, and in the Stube de Tiz, you can taste the delicacies of the cuisine of long ago. The research of simple and genuine ingredients, of local seasonal flavours, will remind you of homemade food and will give you moments of sublime cuisine.
The DV Chalet is located in Madonna di Campiglio, accessible by car through the A22 Brennero highway; it is also accessible by train from the main Italian cities such as Brescia and Trento. The closest airports are Verona airport, Milano-Linate and Bergamo-Montichiari.
