Hôtel du Ministère
Tucked away on a quiet street close to the Champs-Elysées, Place de la Concorde, Place de la Madeleine and the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, the Hôtel du Ministère is a design hotel featuring an art collection. The iconic neoplastic works of long-time Paris resident Piet Mondrian also come into play in the interior, both in the form of direct references (at the breakfast room entrance, for example) and in the repeated use of Mondrian’s strong primary colours and geometric patterning throughout the hotel's rooms and public spaces. Interiors feature a choice of materials: wood, marble, rich fabrics and graphic carpets giving the hotel just the right touch of fun. Spacious rooms are individually designed with vibrant colours and come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a CD player and free organic soft drinks in the minibar. The hotel's bar is the place for an American breakfast in the morning and a choice of organic wines, teas and flavoured waters during the day and evening. Fitness room.
