Jules & Jim Hotel
03. Temple - République
Located in the heart of the Marais, just a couple of steps from the Centre Pompidou is the small Jules & Jim Hotel. The design hotel is distributed between two separate buildings enclosing two paved courtyards, one which has a vertical garden. The rooms overlook these courtyards or the rooftops of central Paris. Rooms are small (as practically everywhere in Paris), but decorated with great taste, and come with air conditioning, soundproofing, an iPod docking station, and a flat-screen TV. Particular care has been taken with the light system, durable materials and high-end bed linens. The stylish (wine) bar/lounge features antique parquet floors, an open fire and a library with French and English novels plus art books. There is no restaurant, but a breakfast is served daily.
