Located steps from the High Line, The High Line Hotel is a contemporary classic hotel set in a red-brick Gothic building from 1865, a former seminary. Interiors feature vintage, surplus and salvaged elements. Residential styled guest rooms come with parquet floors and antique rugs and feature a flat-screen TV, an iPod docking station, a minibar, bathrobes and slippers. Some rooms have fireplaces. There is an outpost of Chicago’s highly regarded Intelligentsia Coffee for coffee and pastries, which transfers to a hip bar in the evenings. Garden and complimentary Shinola bike rentals.
