Set in the iconic 1929 Molitor municipal swimming pool complex, The five star Molitor reopened after 25 years of closure. The original mosaic floors and stained-glass portholes were restored, juxtaposing them with bare concrete walls and exposed ceiling ducts. The hotel offers a 1700m² Clarins© spa, sports club, state-of-the-art gym and heated, outdoor and indoor swimming pools. The restaurant is headed by chef Yannick Alléno who created a nostalgic menu of fresh French dishes in keeping with the ambience. A second -seasonal- rooftop restaurant offers panoramic views of Paris. Cocktail bar. Rooms are decorated in a monochrome scheme and offer pool views, a Bose© iPod docking station, a Nespresso© coffee machine and a safe. Bathrooms come complete with free luxury brand toiletries, a hairdryer, slippers and bathrobes.
