Hotel Okko is a new design hotel by French chain Okko Hotels, situated next to the Hoche Gardens, a 7-minute walk from Grenoble's city centre. The sharp wedge-shaped building offers views of the Alps to one side and the city on the other. Interior design is by Patrick Norguet and many of his products designs can be seen in the hotel, including his exceptional 'Kobi' chair for Alias, his recent 'T14' chair for Tolix, his 'Highlife' sofas for Tacchini and his 'Cône' wall lamps for Artemide.
Bright and sleek guest rooms come with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a work desk, safe, iPod docking station, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary bottled water. Private bathrooms have a shower and include a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Local calls are free-of-charge (some restrictions may apply).
The hotel features a sauna, a fitness centre, a terrace overlooking the park and a Club lounge with library. Here the complimentary breakfast is served.

• Unique: The hotel is situated in the de Bonne area, which is part of the eco-cities programme with the aim of creating thriving local communities with low CO2 emissions. All buildings in the area of de Bonne have to conform to strict guidelines in regards to the use of renewable energy, increased insulation and special roof gardens.
