The family-run Hotel Goldener Berg is located on a plateau at 1,700 metres above the village of Lech. It is set right in the Arlberg ski area, with the ski school and practice hill only a few metres away. The cable car, which runs 07:00 to 01:00 brings you up from Lech in seven minutes.
The hotel, with parts dating back one hundred years, is just fresh of a revamp of the public areas, finishing the complete overhaul of this four star hotel. At the heart is the ground floor lounge around the open fire place.
Rooms and suites are decorated in a contemporary style with Alpine touches offering a cosy ambiance. There is a choice of different categories of rooms and suites ranging in size from 25m2 to 80m2. Room facilities include a satellite TV, radio, telephone, safe and a private bathroom with robes and slippers. Most rooms have balconies.
The 500m2 spa has is made of natural materials (granite, wood) and through its large windows offers panormaic views of the Alpine landscape. Here you will find an outdoor jacuzzi, an indoor pool, various saunas and relaxation rooms, a fitness room, and rooms offering massages and beauty treatments using the hotel's own brand "Almstern" made from edelweiss.
Every evening at Hotel Goldener Berg lets you choose from the culinary delights in four different restaurants. Half-board is possible at an additional cost and must be booked before arrival and for the entire stay. The extensive wine cellar offers a great selection of fine (Austrian) wines. For lunch the two large panorama (sun) terraces, including a bbq terrace, afford beautiful views of the surrounding Lechtal Alps. An extensive buffet breakfast (included in the rate) is served in the mornings.
Children are taken care of in the Kids Club, with activities such as children’s shows, fashion shows, torchlight hikes, many sports and games, and offering lunch and dinner (children’s buffet). Cribs and baby monitors are also available.
