Noordwijk, a typical resort on the Dutch coast is home to Vesper Hotel, the area's first boutique hotel. It is set in a former family hotel dating to 1904. The building and interiors have been revamped with the original 1920s stained glass ceiling in the lobby restored and vintage furniture pieces can be found throughout.
Individually decorated in various colour schemes, the guest rooms and suites (18m2 to 68m2) feature signature beds, a flat-screen TV, iPod dock, and a Illy coffee machine. Luxurious bathrooms have a bath or (rain)shower, a hairdryer and Cinq Mondes complementary toiletries. Some units have garden views, most have sea views with or without a balcony or terrace. The Grand Vesper Suite (70m2) has its own sauna, steam room and huge terrace with views over the North Sea and beyond. Room service.
Vesper Hotel's lobby turns into a seductive bar at sunrise where you can enjoy a glass of wine from the hotel's cellar, a cocktail and some bites. Full lunches and dinners are served at the hotel's operated restaurant (20m) and beach club (50m). Breakfast, included in the rate, is served in the lobby or in-room.
At the Azzuro Wellness Centre (1km) guests can make free use of the indoor pool, fitness facilities, the Turkish steam room and whirlpools. In-room treatments or at the beach are also offered.
