Originally opened in 1926 and proving that if you wait long enough, you will be back in fashion again, Hotel Figueroa rides the waves of Los Angeles' DTLA downtown renaissance. The hotel has been restored to its Spanish Colonial splendor after a two year restoration. The Moroccan-inspired lush landscaped courtyard garden with its iconic coffin shaped swimming pool has stayed but rooms have been thoroughly updated.
New restaurants include Breva and Veranda, conceived by James Beard Award nominee Chef Casey Lane from Tasting Kitchen and Casa Apicii.
