The former Duca di Milano Hotel on Milan's Piazza della Repubblica has been completely revamped into a stylish and elegant hotel with designs by Aldo Rossi and is now part of Melia Hotels' ME lifestyle collection. Each floor is dedicated to an architect, making the hotel a “design promenade” with rooms and public areas characterized by Italian icons, recovering the allure of ancient aristocratic houses using seeded marmorini, precious woods and custom furniture.
Rooms and suites feature a decor with a slight masculine vibe and have air conditioning, integrated digital media hub, Nespresso coffee machine, laptop size safe, 47" LED TV and an extensive minibar 'experience'. Bathrooms come with complimentary organic toiletries, professional hairdryer, soft bathrobes and slippers.
Even the restaurant -open until midnight- has a masculine vibe, not only in decor, but also with its steak menu New York style. Guest can enjoy a drink in the lobby bar and garden bistro, but the true attraction is the 10th floor Radio Bar & Night Club with a rooftop terrace overlooking the Milan skyline.
