Second of "eco luxury hotel brand" 1, 1 Hotel Central Park has infrastructure elements and materials selected to adhere to green building and LEED standards. Raw and natural materials include wood, brick, marble, stone, glass, riveted steel beams, and concrete ceilings. The hotel is set in a former office building with a façade featuring a three-story green wall and two large steel doors clad in 16,000 fallen twigs. It is located 1 block from Central Park South.
All guestrooms feature a warm, neutral color palette with blue and cream hues. Hemp-blend mattresses, natural cotton linens, and terrariums add a green touch. Meanwhile, marble, mushroom wood, concrete tiles, and reclaimed brick in the bathrooms juxtapose with copper fixtures and glass-enclosed showers resembling greenhouses. Room facilities include air conditioning, a seating area, a desk, (laptop) safe and bathroom with shower, hairdryer and robes.
