In the heart of the Lubéron lies Domaine des Andéols, an artistic retreat offering 10 uniquely different "maisons". Set upon a hilltop, views of olive groves and lavender fields of the Provence across a pristine infinity edge pool reach out as far as the eye can see. Each house is unique, combining originality, charm and comfort. Facilities include a flatscreen TV, iPod dock, coffee maker, minibar and a bathroom with complimentary Kiehl's and Daniel Steiner toiletries. Most have air conditioning. The owners spent the last 20 years collecting some 250 paintings, photographs, furniture, and objects, and set out to create a place where they could share it all with artists, designers, friends, and guests from around the world. Stretch out in oversized lounge chairs and breath in the surrounding fragrances of herbs and flora; observe a bustle of activity at a weekend truffles market, or just sit back and watch the sun disappear into the hills while expert chefs toil away in the kitchen, preparing and perfecting the delicate cuisine of Provence. Spa facilities are available including a hammam, steam room, heated indoor pool and massages using essential oils. There is also a bar and library.
