Faena Hotel Miami Beach
Mid Beach
Set in the former Saxony Hotel -built 1948-, Faena Hotel Miami Beach pays tribute to Art Deco and Old Hollywood glamour. The hotel is part of the US$1 billion Faena District project which also includes a theatre, gallery and two residential towers on both side of Collins Avenue, between the Atlantic beach and Indian Creek.
The lobby, knows as the "cathedral" was brought back to its former glory and now adorns dramatic gold leafing.
Rooms come with hardwood floors, Faena red velvet and cool blue tiled bathrooms. Each floor features a butler service and guests have access to "experience managers" arranging everything before, during and departing of the stay.
Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann offers a contemporary take on Argentinian cuisine while Pao by Paul Qui at the Dome serves original modern Asian cuisine. The Saxony Bar is a classic cocktail bar and The Living Room serves small plates, bespoke drinks and a selection of wines.
Art plays an important role with original pieces by Damien Hurst, Jeff Koons, Studio Job, Alberto Garutti, Gonzalo Fuenmayor, Manuel Ameztoy and Juan Gatti in display.
Tierra Santa Healing House is the South American inspired destination spa offering massages, nail care and salon services. Fitness centre. Outdoor, palm-lined swimming pool with direct access to the beach.
