Originally built as one of Chicago's first skyscrapers outside the downtown, The Northwest Tower (also known as the Coyote Building) is a art deco landmark from 1929 originally designed by Perkins, Chatten & Hammond. It is now The Robey, a boutique-style design hotel situated in the heart of Chicago’s trendy Wicker Park and Bucktown neighborhoods. The hotel is located just steps away from the Damen stop on the Blue Line, offering easy access to Chicago’s attractions.

The light-filled rooms and suites feature hardwood floors, 400-thread count sheets, a flat-screen TV and a Bluetooth-enabled sound system. The Panorama Suite affords 180-degree views of Chicago’s skyline. The adjoining Hollander Fireproof Warehouse built in 1905 20 multi-bed Loft rooms (previously The Hollander and Robey Hall hotels) have now been integrated into the main hotel. Here, rooms boast soaring 3,4 metres (11-foot) high ceilings, concrete polished floors as well as rough-textured brick walls. Beds rendered in crisp, blond-hued birch plywood and black steel are illuminated by Schoolhouse Electric bedside lamps and framed by custom-made folded steel shelving.

The neighbourhood Café Robey is open for brunch and dinner every day. Guests can enjoy a morning coffee or grab a drink after work at the café’s second floor lounge. On top of the Robey Hall is the Cabana Club with a (seasonal) swimming pool and all the way up on the 13th floor of the hotel and offers stunning city views, lounge seating, and an array of cocktails and spirits.
