ÜberFluss (meaning both abudance and over the river in German) is a design hotel located in Bremen's city centre backing up to the Weser River. The building’s asymmetrical, slate coloured façade begins reflects the subdued quirkiness of its interiors. ÜberFluss has a colour palette that strays from its black, white or metallic mainly to delve into various shades of light wood, and occasionally to reach as far as a deep red or vibrant yellow.
The 51 rooms and suites (20-80m2) vary: some offer views of the river Weser, others feature an open-plan bath and shower with a view of the room. Traditional elements such as Chesterfield couches are set off with designer furniture by Charles Eames and Tom Dixon. Suites have the additional luxury of a whirlpool, steam bath and Finnish sauna while family rooms have a kitchenette.
The restaurant fuses Italian and Frennch cuisine. There are also two roof terraces, a cosy bar and a lounge, and a riverside deck/terrace. The spa has an indoor pool, hammam, fitness centre sauna and massages. Member Design Hotels
