The Prince Melbourne
The Prince is a decidedly hip hotel in Melbourne's edgy and bohemian St. Kilda neighborhood, just steps from the beach and vibrant nightlife. Past the hotel's Art Deco façade, step into the stylish lobby with its glossy black staircase and neon-pink light, and you'll feel like you've walked into a futuristic film set.
The black-painted hallways are suspenseful, but the rooms they lead to are far from moody. The minimalist but sunny guest rooms feature rattan and raw timber stools and lamps, Arne Jacobsen chairs, and mohair blankets draped over crisp white sheets. Room facilities include a TV, a DVD player, a minibar, radio alarm clock and private bathrooms with Aurora Spa Rituals amenities packs.
The Prince is home to Circa, the two hats (Australian equivalent to Michelin stars) restaurant and bar which serves elegant (sharing) plates styled with Asian zing. There is also a popular Mexican restaurant.
The rooftop has an indoor swimming pool and expansive outside deck boasting day beds and views over Port Philip Bay and back to the city. After a quick swim to cool off, book a soothing massage at Aurora Spa, the ultimate city retreat in which to unwind and restore the soul.
