Set in a former whitewashed apartment building, Drift San José is a hip boutique-style hotel with minimalist interiors inspired by modern Baja ranch life. The hotel is located in the historic city center of San José del Cabo, just a block from the main plaza and Gallery district and a 12-minute walk to the nearest beach.
The rooms come with concrete floors, white-washed, industrial accents and rolling panels as windows. Facilities include air conditioning, a work desk and a private bathroom with shower. No TVs! All overlook the palm-lined courtyard; some include hammocks.
The outdoor bar offers a tasting of over 25 Mezcals, several Mexican micro beers and a selection of Baja wines. Thursday and Saturday nights a food cart brings a a social atmosphere.
