The DNA: Hotel AWA is the brain child of architect and designer Mauricio Fuentes and took ten years to develop. The family owned project was born with the motivation to share the amazing sites and culture that Puerto Varas and the Chilean Los Lagon Region (Lake District) have to offer. The strong architectural concept focuses on highlighting the views of Lake Llanquihue and the impressive Osorno Volcano looming on the other shore. Exposed concrete is mixed with living materials, such as wood and fabrics, all sourced within the Lake District to give a warm and welcoming setting.
