Built on the site of the 1889 hotel of the same name (which traded until 1929), the Saint George is a boutique design hotel set in the heart of Marfa, Texas. The hotel itself (naturally, being in Marfa) houses an impressive 300 original, curated works from artists like Mark Flood, Christopher Wool, Jeremy Deprez to Jeff Elrod that are displayed all over the public hotel spaces but also throughout rooms.
Airy, contemporary rooms feature air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, as well as a sitting area, a minifridge and a safe. Room design include distressed leather and steel elements paired with lush sheepskin rugs and white cotton bedding.
