The hip Supernova Hotel is set in a building dating to 1905, previously an office building. It is located in the western part of Rotterdam’s city centre.
All rooms are individually styled and come with features such as a loft bed, a balcony or split-level floorplan and varied furnishings and objects, ranging from a dining table and wire-framed shelves to vinyl record players and leather couches. Floors are wood parquet, while walls feature wainscoting in sophisticated hues. Fluted glass factors into the palette as the bathroom door in some rooms; as a partition between sleeping and leisure areas in others.
The hotel has a restaurant, bar, garden and terrace. Supernova also functions as an informal gallery, showcasing artwork by young and local creatives. Added perks are free on-the-go breakfasts and bicycles.
