The DNA: Owners Nicola and Rosa Dipino, who hail from the Amalfi Coast, bought this summer private residence of an Italian shipowner in the 1980s. The many Arabesque features of the villa, which was built in the 1950s, comes from the mind of the Turkish architect. Uniquely set (if you are driving here, expect some hair raising pins in the road), overlooking the Mediterranean and up to the park of the Villa Cimbrone and “La Rondinaia” – once owned by Gore Vidal. Nicola and Rosa, first generation hoteliers, oversee the running together of the albergo with their children and are everyday on the spot to make feel all of the guests like home.
