Located just under an hour north of Florence, in the Mugello valley, Tenuta Le Tre Virtù is a charming, yet luxurious farmstay of six hectares of certified organic land. Cultivated with passion and pursuit of biodiversity, you will be able to stroll among ancient fruit trees, olive trees that are still young but already productive, and a lavender field which shows incredible colors in July.
The boho-chic rooms and suites, each in its own distinct colour scheme, are all decorated individually. Although low tech in appearance, they come with every mod-com but lack a TV: in stead guests enjoy the peace and quiet of the stunning, surrounding countryside.

In the gardens there is a beautiful infinity pool with a surrounding terrace with sun loungers. Cocktails can be enjoyed from the pool side bar. The hotel’s restaurant, Virtuoso Gourmet, has a Michelin star. Chef Antonello Sardi serves a personal interpretation of classic Tuscan cuisine using only local ingredients, some of them grown in the estate’s own garden. Other meals, are excellent as well, from the à-la-carte breakfast to lunch at the casual Virtuosino Bistrot and (wine) tastings at the Cantina Toscana cellar. Bread, pasta and desserts are home-made.

It all started with owner’s Valentina and Christian’s desire to live surrounded by greenery and away from the chaos of the city. After much research, in spring 2010 they found a little paradise: an abandoned 17th-century hamlet, lying on the edge of a valley, among the rolling hills of Mugello, famous for its racing circuit. The main house “Casaccia”, was surrounded by a barn, a cottage and a pigsty. They fell madly in love: the perfect combination of location and landscape, authentic rural Tuscan architecture, and the possibility to pursue a philosophy based on eco-sustainability, love and respect for nature. The couple immediately started renovation work, enhancing what was left of the old estate, carefully selecting all materials and objects themselves, favoring local artisans and companies that share their philosophy. The end result is Le Tre Virtù (the three virtues), an exciting agrotourism with a modern take on Tuscan hospitality.
