The DNA: Barcelona-based, “Straight friendly” Axel Hotels have opened their first US location, AxelBeach Miami South Beach. Axel Hotels, which homes in on the LHBTIQA+ community opened their first hotel in Barcelona, 15 years ago. The recently renovated Art Deco property (formerly Hadden Hall) offers a bar, a pool bar with restaurant service, fitness centre and a garden with outdoor pool. Rooms either overlook the city, garden and/or swimming pool.

Suite-Me-Up: The ‘suites’ are in fact the largest rooms, with two queen sized beds (party!) and overlook the gardens.
