The DNA: Occupying six interconnected houses over two main buildings, the chic and contemporary Canopy by Hilton Reykjavik City Centre was originally a furniture factory, in operation from 1937 to 1963. The interior has been renovated in a slick, funky style with high quality designer furniture, tall bookshelves hosting Icelandic literature, lots of vinyl to reference its former incarnation as music and cultural venue Faktory, and a shop selling local products.
