Fabrika Hostel & Suites | Tbilisi

The DNA: Fabrika Hostel & Suites is a hybride boutique hotel/hip hostel/multi-purpose events space/co-working space where social life takes precedence over traditional conceptions of luxury which sprung up in various parts of Europe. You may be surprised to see it in Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital which has opened itself to international travelers in a big way. Housed in a former Soviet-era textile factory, the building is a utilitarian concrete structure, and the exterior, including graffiti, is more or less unchanged. Interiors are vibrant and welcoming,  fusing vintage and modern style. Rooms are either private (with en-suite bathrooms) or dormitory rooms with the Soviet half-painted walls and old linoleum floors. All feature comfortable mattresses, and air conditioning with bi-level suites having terraces and wet bars. There is an eclectic lounge with colorful rugs and a football table. The courtyard holds various cafés and bars, artistic studios, workshops, concept stores, a co-working space, a barber shop, a creative education school and ever changing one-off events. The restaurant offers selected dishes from European cuisine and you can enjoy drinks and snacks from the bar. Bike rentals and guest laundry facilities.
