The Area: Located in the Plaza Mayor (main square) of Ayllón, a medieval village in the province of Segovia.

The DNA: Hotel Ayllón is a boutique hotel set in two renovated village houses, simple and sober but warm and comfortable at the same time. The space itself provides calmness and peacefulness, with shades of color that gives freshness just like the poppies in the surrounding wheat fields bringing an almost Scandinavian aesthetic. Local craftsmen used regional materials like stone, wood and lime. The intricate layout of the hotel is an experience for the guests with its courtyard and adjoining lounges and restaurant dining rooms. Large wooden windows and balconies, along with white-washed walls and white linen makes the hotel bright and comfortable.

Suite-Me-Up: None of the spacious 18 rooms (of which 4 junior suites) is the same. These come with views of the courtyard or the old town’s Plaza Mayor from balconies, terraces or attic room windows. Clean lines with wooden floors, midcentury-inspired designer furniture and bathrooms in Carrara marble set the tone.
