Hotel June | Los Angeles

Hotel June | Los Angeles

The Vibe: Always Saturday afternoon, happy-go-lucky Southern California: warm, sunny minimalism, organic materials, live plants, and stylish custom furniture.

The Area: Westside, on Lincoln Boulevard just north of LAX. Not just an airport hotel, it is equally close to Marina del Rey, and Venice Beach just beyond.

The DNA: The more affordable sibling of the luxury-boutique Proper Hotels is Hotel June, occupying a classic mid-century hotel building by architect Welton Becket. There is a Baja-inspired “Swim Club” with a palm-fringed pool deck, bar, and a fire pit. Hotel June’s dining concepts are helmed by hospitality impresario Steve Livigni from award-winning Scopa, with menus inspired by a culinary road trip from Santa Barbara to Northern Baja, Mexico.

Suite-Me-Up: The June Suite features a separate living room, dining area, bedroom with king bed and stunning views of the city and ocean.
