Kosenda Hotel | Jakarta

The DNA: A contemporary boutique hotel that fuses traditional Indonesian Betawi houses and modernist Danish furniture is not what comes to mind thinking of Jakarta, but it is exactly what the Kosenda Hotel does. And there is plenty of natural wood giving the hotel a warm feel. Individually decorated rooms come with a flat-screen TV, an iPod/iPhone dock, a minibar, tea and cofee making facilities, designer toiletries and goose-down bedding. Larger rooms have sitting areas, minibars and kitchenettes. The Waha Kitchen serves Peranakan and Indonesian cuisine while the rooftop Awan Lounge serves Asian Tapas and beverages and offers panoramic views of the Indonesian capital. There is also a café and a fitness centre.
