Hôtel & Spa Le Germain Charlevoix | Canada

The DNA: Hotel Le Germain Charlevoix is a modern design hotel, inspired by local farm buildings. The hotel is located in the centre of Baie-Saint-Paul in Québec’s renowned Charlevoix region, declared a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, nestled between the mountains and the river. On the site once stood Canada’s largest wooded farm, which burnt down in 1997. In keeping with its history, the hotel features barn-inspired wood features throughout the build (think pillars and exposed wood beams) and art and materials used locally sourced like cabinets, curtains, bedding and carpets, promoting Québec firms and artists. Five types of rooms were created in order to house distinct personalities: a railway theme, a nearby monastery, botanicals, traditional farms and animals. The hotel offers two restaurants, a bar, a café and a farmer’s market. There is a spa with outdoor thermal bath and a yoga program.
