The DNA: Known as “The Cheesegrater”, the iconic 1967 Montreal Marriott Château Champlain was built by Canadian Pacific (Railway) Hotels for the 1967 Expo. With 40 floors, the building stands out with its arch-shaped windows which are intended to complement the Romanesque Revival arches of nearby Windsor Station. A recent renovations brings it back into the 21st-century.
