Nobis Hotel Copenhagen

The Vibe: A Nordic classic.

The Area: Could not be more central: cross from the green wonderland of Tivoli Gardens, a stone’s throw from Copenhagen’s buzzing Rådhuspladsen square, the National Museum, and the Danish Design Centre.

The DNA: Swedish Nobis Hotels’ entry into Denmark, the Nobis Hotel Copenhagen is a seriously stylish Scandinavian design property set in the former Royal Danish Conservatory of Music dating to 1903. Restaurant Niels offers Scandinavian dishes, based on seasonal, quality products. On weekends, guests can also enjoy brunch, including homemade bread, sweets and other delicacies. Bar and lounge. There is also a fitness centre, a sauna, a hammam and an indoor pool.

Suite-Me-Up: Modern meets classicism in the bright rooms which are painted in a soothing color scale of beautiful greens and blues, and have rustic hardwood oak floor in chevron patterns. All feature Scandinavian design furniture, a flat-screen TV, a bathroom with grey Bardiglio marble and a specially designed curve-shaped dresser and desk made by Wingårdhs Architects. The Penthouse Suite is up in the attic and has vast windows overlooking the atmospheric rooftops, while the Royal Suite on the first floor (main picture) has delicate cornices.
