The DNA: ONE@TOKYO is a design hotel located in Tokyo’s eastern Oshiage district. Guests are greeted by a dynamic lattice of timber planks at the base of a concrete ten-storey tower. A versatile 15-meter-long counter links the reception area to the restaurant and bar which has an outdoor seating area. On the rooftop, a plant-filled outdoor lounge take in views of the adjacent Skytree broadcasting tower (the world’s tallest). Industrial themed rooms range from compact studios to more spacious lofts and offer a minimal aesthetic with exposed ceilings and structural plywood. Located on the uppermost floor, the ‘Atelier’ suite resembles an artist’s workshop, while the ‘Library’ suite has been created as a private space for book lovers.
