The Area As the name suggests, Palazzo Niccolini Al Duomo is right in the heart of Florence on the pedestrian-only Piazza del Duomo in front of the cathedral.

The DNA: The palazzo was built and owned by the Naldinis, an important family of merchants and bankers, until the last descendant Cristina married Marchese Eugenio Niccolini in 1891 and brought it as part of her dowry. The now owners Filippo and Ginevra Niccolini di Camugliano personally supervised the renovation works and oversee the hotel in all details in order to ensure that guests who nowadays wish to experience the style and prestige of an aristocratic palace and the atmosphere of a private residence be offered a top quality treatment. There is a classic lounge with internet corner. Breakfast is served at the lounge or at the room. A number of concierge services are available at the reception.
