PURO Hotel Kraków Kazimierz

PURO Kraków Kazimierz

The DNA: Kraków’s historic long neglected Jewish quarter of Kazimierz nowadays hosts an attractive mix of art galleries, old-world workshops, millennial cafés and independent shops. Poland’s PURO Hotels have opened up their largest lifestyle hospitality unit, PURO Kraków Kazimierz, today here (there’s also an outpost at the Old Town) with interiors boasting a myriad of slick European design brands like Fritz Hansen, Gubi, &Tradition, Golran1898, Moroso, Baxter, Fogia, and Kettal. Polish art is featured throughout the luxury hotel with Kraków’s native street artist Nawer contributing an eye-catching graffiti mural and Mateusz Szczypiński adding two modernist collages to the lobby. PURO has also commissioned five Polish illustrators to create three different artworks inspired by their emotional reflections on Kazimierz, which hang in the sleek guest rooms. The hotel’s expansive communal areas on the ground floor include a modernist sunken lounge centred on a suspended fireplace and features several outdoor spaces. There is a casual cafe/bakery and a stylish restaurant/bar serving Polish classics. The Prisma Spa stocks products by local beauty specialist Alba 1913, Poland’s oldest holistic health and beauty brand.
