Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara

Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara | Abu Dhabi

The Vibe: Voted the most instagrammable hotel in the world.

The Area: Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara is situated in the Liwa Desert, known as the Empty Quarter, the world’s largest continuous sandy desert, a 90-minute drive from downtown Abu Dhabi.

The DNA: Bedouin artefacts are plentiful in common areas and hotel thoroughfares, windows and doors have been designed with tradition in mind, while dimly lit lanterns and falaj-style water systems are a nod to days gone by. The castle-like exterior reflects traditional Bedouin forts of yesteryear. Guests cross a lantern-lined bridge, through an arched entryway before being led into the impressive lobby and nearby lounge, where a live Qanun player adds to the charm.

Suite-Me-Up: Accommodations range from spacious deluxe garden and balcony rooms to stand alone villas with up to three bedrooms with private plunge pools and butler service.
