Rooms Hotel Tbilisi | Georgia

The DNA: The sister hotel to Georgia’s first design hotel in the Caucasus mountains, Rooms Hotel Tbilisi is located in the Georgian capital. The property is set in an industrial Soviet-era publishing house- a nostalgic remnant of Vera, the intellectual neighbourhood it inhabits. The façade has been clad in reclaimed wood, giving the post-industrial window frames – signature to the city – an appropriate update, while a new glass-walled atrium-like extension establishes a modern tract that allows light to flood into the interior. Interiors fuse 1930s New York and old-world Tbilisi charm, with rich leathers, local artwork and vintage Georgian pieces. Bohemian chic rooms feature dark wood floors, leather-upholstered bedheads, or iron bedsteads for a hip, urban, mid-century, lived-in (in a good way) post-industrial aesthetic. The hotel offers a restaurant, cocktail bar, courtyard terrace and a fitness centre.
