The DNA: Built on the site of the 1889 hotel of the same name (which traded until 1929), the Saint George is a boutique design hotel set in the heart of Marfa, Texas. The hotel itself houses an impressive 300 original, curated works from artists like Mark Flood, Christopher Wool, Jeremy Deprez to Jeff Elrod that are displayed all over the public hotel spaces but also throughout rooms. LaVenture restaurant serves rustic American-style cuisine with French and Italian influences. A local book store is part of the hotel’s lobby.
Suite-Me-Up: On the southwest corner of the top fourth floor, the High Corner Suite looks south towards scenic ranchlands and west to sunset views. Room design include distressed leather and steel elements paired with lush sheepskin rugs and white cotton bedding.
