Selina Catahoula | New Orleans

Selina Catahoula | New Orleans

The Vibe: Boho Chic.

The Area: In a narrow side street of the New Orleans’ Central Business District, three blocks from the French Quarter.

The DNA: Selina Catahoula is a hip boutique hotel set in two Creole townhouse buildings from 1845 in the shadows of the office buildings of downtown New Orleans. The hotel has recently partnered with Odd Birds, an award-winning restaurant group with Latin-inspired flavors and a cocktail-forward menu, making it the perfect destination for an intimate dining experience or a city lights viewing from its open-air rooftop bar. A towering mural of Nola burlesque legend Trixie Minx looks over the proceedings in the courtyard – the work of local stunt-loving artist Walker Babington.

Suite-Me-Up: Cozy, compact rooms have a residential and lived-in feel (exposed brick walls and plaster, original windows) and come with luxury details like Caspas mattresses and walk-in rain showers.
