Selina Chelsea Hotel NYC

Selina Chelsea | New York City

The Vibe: Minimalist

The Area: In the Chelsea Gallery district on the High Line Park.

The DNA: The Selina Chelsea set up shop in the former Hotel Americano, a 10-story glass and metal mesh tower. The minimalist designed hotel nods to the neighborhood’s industrial history while playing host to an exterior elevator that whizzes guests up to the rooftop bar and restaurant. Downstairs is the Americano restaurant that serves French cuisine with a Latin flair. Smoothies, sandwiches and pastries are offered at Americano On-The-Go.

Suite-Me-Up: Japanese style rooms come with wooden platform beds, warm lighting, and natural materials. Room facilities include a flatscreen TV and a bathroom with fluffy oversized Turkish towels.
