The Vibe: Mexican Modernism meets old Hollywood glamour under the beating Californian sun.
The Area: Located south of Sunset Junction in the heart of the Silver Lake neighbourhood of Los Angeles.

The DNA: Silver Lake Pool & Inn sees an evocative 1980s motel reimagined into an alluring design hotel with 54 rooms, an elevated pool deck, and an Italian restaurant where guests can dine indoors or al fresco. Inviting yet relaxing, Mexican Modernism is evoked through the use of natural and vintage elements; old Hollywood glamour referenced in details from vintage-inspired neon signage to a custom marble and wood bar. Serving an all-day menu of Italian-inspired plates, Marco Polo Trattoria and Bar offers a seasonal menu from chef Casey Lane, guests able to enjoy simple, rustic Italian fare either indoors or around the hotel’s pool; the Southern California climate allowing for the majority of the property’s social spaces to be outdoors.
Suite-Me-Up: The guest rooms are filled with natural light, plush linen and luxury bathroom amenities; with Nespresso machines, walk-in rain showers and a gourmet mini bar as standard. Handmade Moroccan tiling and terrazzo nightstands contrast with vintage-inspired floor lamps, leather and wood armchairs, and artwork; whilst lush greenery and antique rugs add subtly distinct decorative elements.
