The DNA: The Hoxton, Portland is set in the former Grove Hotel dating to 1907 and a new 8-story annex. Expect plenty of stylish communal areas for co-working and playing, and the group’s signature approach to living like a local while away. The lobby is well used as a co-working space, filled with a mix of mid-century modern style and cocktail chairs in deep shades of velvet, plus plenty of trademark dark wood and statement lighting. The Mexican restaurant and rooftop bar are both worth a visit in their own rights.
