The Society Hotel | Portland, Oregon

The DNA: The Society Hotel, a former sailor’s lodge built in 1881, and abandoned since 1975, was overhauled to create this boutique hotel in Portland’s old China Town, and includes both hostel-style bunkbeds and compact private rooms, aimed at design-conscious travellers on a budget. There is both a lobby bar and a rooftop bar.
