The Vibe: Venetian twist.
The Area: Located across the street from the Brenta waterway near the town of Dolo, midway between Venice and Padua (both a 25-minute drive). The “Riviera del Brenta” is the scenery for old Venetian nobles and a perfect holiday destination to escape from the urban chaos with its parks, fields, gardens, orchards, villas and farms.
The DNA: Villa Gasparini is an unique design hotel housed in an 18th-century former villa, once the summer residence of an aristocratic family. In July 2015 a tornado hit the area and wrecked the hotel. Soon afterwards dragonflies appeared, signaling change – and it did. This is no ordinary classic villa, in stead riot colours are mixed with traditional gilded Venetian style. A continental breakfast with fresh bread and local cakes is included in the rate and is served in the bright breakfast room. A bar service is available during the day and evenings and drinks and appetizers can be enjoyed on the terrace in the garden. Bicycles are available to rent to explore the surroundings.
Suite-Me-Up: Rooms and suites feature an elegant decor in several contemporary, ornate Venetian styles that represent the masculine / feminine duality and the juxtaposition of opposites. They come in categories as Classic, Ethno Chic Pink or Golden Venice and features include wood-beamed ceilings, air conditioning, an LCD TV with satellite channels, a safe and a minibar. Some rooms have whirlpool tubs. Room service is available.
