Designed by global architecture firm HOK, its sweeping curves and glass-and-steel façade were inspired by aerospace engineering, subtly referencing the city that became synonymous with space exploration. Inspired by the Spirit of Texas
Houston-based Abel Design Group created interiors that celebrate the confidence and sophistication of modern Texas. Warm timber floors, natural stone, brushed brass, rich leather and sculptural furnishings combine to evoke the imagined residence of a stylish 1970s oil baron. Earthy colour palettes and organic materials soften the contemporary architecture, while subtle references to the surrounding park create a seamless connection between the hotel and its natural setting.

The 172 guestrooms, including 34 suites, continue the residential approach with spacious layouts, bespoke furnishings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking either downtown Houston or Buffalo Bayou Park.
