Housed inside a historic turn-of-the-century building, the interiors by Roman and Williams embrace the character that was already there. Towering columns, mosaic floors, exposed brick, steel pipework, vintage furniture, plaid textiles, warm lighting, and carefully sourced antiques create an atmosphere that feels collected rather than designed. The guestrooms reject traditional luxury in favour of individuality. Exposed brick walls, plumbing-pipe wardrobes referencing NoMad’s garment history, mid-century furniture, curated artwork, record players, acoustic guitars, vintage details, and generously stocked Smeg refrigerators make many rooms feel more like creative New York apartments than hotel suites. Sizes vary considerably, but every room reflects the same relaxed philosophy. Luxury here is cultural. Not conventional.

The lobby remains Ace’s greatest achievement. When Ace arrived, NoMad was only beginning its transformation.
